Margarita Cocktail with Salt Rimmer Recipe
This traditional Margarita cocktail with a salt rim is ideal for any occasion. Tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup combine to make a refreshing and tangy drink that will impress your guests.
Ingredients
- Ice
- For the rim, use kosher salt
- Tequila, 2 oz
- 1/2 oz triple sec
- Garnish with a wedge of lime
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1 lime juice (1 oz)

- Total Time: 5 minutes
Instructions
- To coat the rim of a glass, rub the lime wedge around it and dip it in kosher salt.
- Fill an ice-filled cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
- Combine the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup in a mixing glass.
- Shake until thoroughly combined.
- Pour into a prepared glass.
- Garnish with a wedge of lime.
